Tobias used to be a cat. The stars sent him to Cerea to protect the Princess Chikali and Sailor Cerea. On the way, Tobias's spirit was trapped in the body of Chika's newborn kitten, Tobi. Whan Tobi was four, he took a blaster bolt for Chika out of instinct. He fell in love with Chika, but didn't know she was Chikali and Sailor Cerea. So he hid his feelings, being a person of duty.
