Lain is the Guardian of Souls, Senshi of Bith and Rebirth. Her home is the Spirit Realm, the place where souls rest. She has been the Guardian of Souls since the start of time and would be the Guardian until time stops, but her reign as Guardian will end soon. Lain is be to be reborn into the Mortal Realm as the daughter of Sailor Centrali, but until that time comes she will remain the Guardian. When Lain enters the Mortal Realm she takes on the body of her future reborn self at the age of 17. In this body she can transform into Sailor Chibi Centrali, but since she truly has not been reborn, she does not have any of Chibi Centrali's Senshi powers. Instead, however, Lain has Healing Love Rebirth and Angelic Feathers Shield, one being a healing power and the other a shielding power. Once Lain is reborn she will gain her Chibi Centrali powers.
