Born in a test tube, Mistique has always dreamed of having the family she deserved. When denied this, being of an alien race, she turned to a life of evil, causing havoc and chaos in the lives of those she was jealous of. When she was in her teens, she got pregnant by a Jedi knight; she had used her shape-shifting power to turn into the woman he desired most and then killed him. She gave birth but gave the child up and left it in an alley. She returned the next day to take it with her, but the child was gone. Determined to find it, she went on rampage and still is searching.
