A Love So Strong, It Takes Control

Souru brought his ruby-red lightsaber blade up to block the attacking electric violet lightsaber blade. The attacker brought their blade down and around to his right leg, but he saw it and whipped his blade down and under the attacking blade and brought his blade up hard, so hard that he was able to disarm his attacker.

"Souru, how many time do I have to tell you - DON'T do that. You could hurt somebody, and I'm afraid it's going to be me."

"Sorry Tenshi, its just that with everything being back to normal, I'm a bit stronger now," he said with a smile on his face.

"Oh yeah, you're as strong as a rancor now," Tenshi mocked him sarcastically. "You smell like one too."

"Training will do that to you. Well we should be getting back soon, Luke's probably driving Luke crazy," he said with a raised eyebrow, noticing how weird that sounded. They had left Chibi-Luke with his seventeen year old counterpart from the future so they could get in some more lightsaber training.

"I'll meet you back here in about ten mintues, okay?"

"Allright, I'll meet you at the door," Tenshi said as she went to get changed in the women's change room. Souru went to the men's change room, grabbed a quick shower, got dressed and met his wife at the entrance/exit to the lightsaber training area.

Tenshi exited the door into the connecting hallway and waited for him on the other side of the door. Souru opened the door with his right hand as he flicked the lights off to the room with his left hand. He closed the door behind him and took a few steps to catch up to Tenshi, who had started to walk ahead of him. He came up along side her left side and slid his right hand gently into her left hand. They walked back to their suite, hand in hand. As they got close to their suite, Souru stopped as Tenshi kept walking. He playfully brought his right hand back, and she swung around and came with it. He wrapped his arms around her waist, and she wrapped her arms around the back of his neck. He brought her closer and lowered his head down a bit and kissed her, and in return she kissed him back. They stayed that way until Luke stuck his head out the door and coughed to get their attention.

"Ummm... sorry about that, thought I heard you two out here."

"It's okay, Luke, don't worry about it. How was Luke?" Tenshi asked, and Souru got that weird look on his face and asked, "Did you give yourself any trouble?" then started to laugh.

"Very funny, Dad," Luke said with a sarcastic short laugh. "Yeah, the little guy was good Mom, not a single problem."

"That's good. Is he asleep now?"

"Yeah, put him to bed about an hour ago. So who won?" he asked regarding their training.

"Your father did again. He keeps disarming me, he won't let me win," Tenshi replied with that oh-so-famous smirk as she took a seat at the kitchen table.

"I'll let you win one of these days," Souru said as he walked by her and kissed her again, then went back to whatever it was he was doing. He stopped and sat on the seat next to Tenshi, holding his lightsaber handle in his right hand.

"Here Luke, try this," he said as he tossed his lightsaber to his son, who caught it in his right hand in the middle of the dining room where he was standing. Luke thumbed the ingitor, and the ruby red pilliar of energy spung forth to its one-point-two meter length. He waved it around in the air slowly, making sure not to hit anything. After watching the blade move back and forth in front of him, he thumbed it off and tossed it back to Souru. Souru missed catching it and hit the floor with a clang!

"Oh boy." Souru looked down at the silver handle, and then looked around nervously.

"Just pick it up already, we don't have all day," Tenshi said jokingly.

"I... ah... ummmm can't, it reminds me of what happened on the ship," he replied nervously.

Tenshi grabbd his left and held onto it tightly. "Go get it, I'll hold onto you from here."

"Thanks Tenshi." And with that, he leaned over slowly and picked up his lightsaber in his right hand. They then talked about what kind of cute stuff chibi-Luke did.

Later that night they were in bed, Souru on the left, Tenshi on the right. Souru was staring at the ceiling while Tenshi read her datapad. "You were really scared about picking your lightsaber up earlier, weren't you?" Tenshi asked.

"Yeah, that was the first time since the accident, and I thought that it would happen again if I picked it up. Thanks for holding on while I picked it up."

"You're welcome," she said as she kissed him on the forehead. She then put her datapad down and turned the lights off.

"Good night Souru, I love you," Tenshi said as she got comfotable and fell asleep.

"I love you too, Tenshi. Night," Souru said as he dozed off.

Souru woke up to his alarm, but he wasn't in his bed - he was on the floor, where he usually woke up. He got up and put his stuff back on the bed. He hit the alarm to shut it up, and as he hit the off button, it kept going. No matter what he did, he couldn't get the alarm to shut up. He even unplugged it. Then it hit him.

"Oh yeah, that's the baddie alarm," he said as he brought his right hand up to his forehead. After changing his clothes, he ran out of the room and into the hallway leading towards the Jedi Temple. When he got there, he noticed Yavin VI and Kuja fighting. The rest of his family - well in that time, anyways - was there too, but tied up in the corner behind Kuja. Souru ran towards Kuja, untransformed, making sure not to get in Tenshi's way. Souru jumped towards Kuja, but about two feet away from Kuja was a field that blocked Souru. At that moment Souru felt absolute terror; it was as if the field were designed to bring absolute terror into anybody who got to close to Kuja. An AT field.

When Souru regained himself, he watched an energy blast fired by Kuja impact with Tenshi's stomach, knocking her to the ground. The kids yelled out towards their mother, but couldn't do anything to help her. Souru got up and ran towards her, but was stopped again by Kuja's AT field. Souru tried to fight the terror he was feeling as he heard Kuja laugh, and as Tenshi tried to stand up, Kuja prepared to fire another energy blast at Tenshi - and Souru knew what would happen if it was successful.

Still fighting the terror he was feeling, Souru yelled, "Stop it Kuja!! I'll give you whatever you want - don't hurt her, please!!"

Kuja cut his AT field and let Souru regain himself. "Alright Souru, give me your power to Corellia, and I will not hurt your wife anymore." Souru closed his eyes, put his head back and took a deep breath before speaking; Kuja took this as hesitation. "Come on Souru, it's either your wife, or your power. What will it be?" Kuja asked impaitently. Souru looked at Tenshi, then at Kuja, then back and forth between the two.

He came to a decision, not as if he needed to think about it.

He looked at Tenshi. "I'm sorry, Tenshi," Souru said as he threw his head back again, this time releasing the powers of Corellia to Kuja.

When the transfer was complete, Souru couldn't help but laugh. Kuja looked at him and raised an eyebrow. "What are you laughing at? You just lost your power?!" Kuja asked.

"When will you baddies learn? Power does not come from some planet, it comes from inside each of us. Mine focuses on the love for my family. That why I sometimes transform wrong - my feelings get mixed and I become no better than you. The planet only helps strengthen that power. You can have my Corellian Knight power all you want. I'll still be able to transform without it," Souru told Kuja confidently.

"Alright than, we'll just have to see if your theory is correct," Kuja said just before doing something nobody, not even Souru, knew he could do. Kuja had transformed into the Corellian Knight.

"Okay, Kuja, if you insist," Souru said, right before transforming into the Corellian Knight. Souru was then surrounded by a bright white light that stung the eyes of the others in the room. When the light faded and they could see again, they were amazed at what they saw. It was Souru and he was still transformed, but he looked different. Then they clued in - this is what Souru was talking about. The love for his family had let him transform to a higher level. He was now the Mega Corellian Knight. Kuja stood there with his mouth opened.

"H... ho... how did you do that? I have Corellia's power!! You can't transform!!" Kuja screamed in frustration.

"If there's anything I hate, it's people who don't listen, Kuja! I just finished telling you, the love of my family will always keep me going. They are the reason I can transform to my orginal level and this new level, which can kick you butt any day now!"

Souru faded out and faded in right behind Kuja with his hands in a fist above the baddie's head. He brought them down hard, cracking Kuja's helmet. Souru then grabbed Kuja, and they both faded out. They faded in again outside, in the shadow of one of Coruscant's giant buildings. Souru grabbed Kuja and threw him down towards the ground, which was a pretty good distance away. Kuja slammed into the ground hard. He opened his eyes just in time to see a giant energy ball heading towards him. He tried to get up, but his body wouldn't respond; he tried everything but he wasn't able to move. The blast hit him with such an impact that it sent him into the lower levels of Courscant, where he became disoriented and badly injured.

"Kuja, if you're going to fight like that then you might as well just give up, run away and leave us alone," Souru yelled down to him.

"I.. I'l... I'll get... yo... you... Sou...ru, now... tha...t... I ha...ve Corelli...a's power, I can modi...fy it to make me stronger." With that, Kuja weakly smiled and disappeared into a bolthole he had somehow opened beneath him. Souru shrugged it off and faded out, then in back inside to his family.

"I don't think we have to worry about him for a while, he got beaten pretty badly," Souru informed the others. "Now let's get you home and into bed - you look horrible," he said as he picked up his wife and headed for the exit, after freeing the kids.

They got home, and Souru put Tenshi to bed so she could recover from the battle with Kuja. He stood at the doorway looking at her as she slept. "I love you, Tenshi, and I always will. I will not let anything come between us. Night," Souru said softly as he closed the door gently.
