After the Empire rose to power, after Sailor Vjun's sacrifice, a mysterious space pod landed in the Menari Mountains of Coruscant. Inside the pod was a infant girl with a monkey tail. The baby was the reincarnated Vjun, now know as Endaibu. The infant child was taken to Emperor Palpatine, and he named her Mara Jade. The emperor had the child's tail cut off because he wouldn't want a monkey-tailed kid as an apprentice. But the Emperor ordered to keep a sample of tissue from the tail and ordered his scientists to create a clone from it. Before Sailor Vjun's sacrifice, Megami was always being watched; Palpatine had created a small information-gathering probe that would follow young Mara as she grew and matured. Meanwhile, Rama was given this information through a computer. This continued until Bebi and Trunks stumbled upon the room in the basement of the old Imperial Palace. The clone was awakened; she admitted that she wasn't a bad person, but soon the plotting began. She took the name of Rama Jade and with the help of a monkey named Ranchi, she became Oni Kodomo aka Sailor Chibi Vjun, the Sith of Misery and Humiliation.

After a fight with Bebi, Rama fled to a time machine which took her to the past. In the past Rama lied to Megami by telling her that she had only good intentions. But Rama was up to no good as she trapped Mara's brother, trying to kill him by crushing his heart crystal, which actually turned out to be one of Megami's acting awards. Since Rama is three quarters short of a dollar, Mara's brother turned the tables on her, pretending to be dead. With this in mind, Rama fled, thinking that her plan was working.
