The Jedi Purges have begun, and the galaxy has been cast into total darkness! It's too horrible to recount, but the Jedi are being hunted down and slaughtered. The Star Wars Sailor Senshi seem to be standing strong, but the dark forces of Palpatine seem to be gaining control. This is the beginning of the dark time that Mara, Luke, Han, Leia and the others had told Ben about.
"I must leave," he said, looking up at his young mother with tears in his eyes.
Megami put her blue henshin stick on her belt, along with her lightsaber. "I know. It's too dangerous for you to be here. I have already accepted Sith Belkadan's challenge. My time is growing short; I had already packed your things and had them sent back home to future Coruscant. Have you talked to Trunks?"
Ben nodded. "Yes, he will be here tonight. Right now, I must go - Yuki will be leaving shortly."
Megami let go of him. "Be strong, Ben - you'll be going home soon, and you'll be able to tell your father about everything that has taken place here."
He looked at her one last time. "But there is something else - after I get home, I must go to Hoth."
She watched him rush away. "I can't believe that this is the end., she said softly. Taking a deep breath, she closed her eyes in deep meditation. She prepared herself for battle, to be a true warrior, to be like her older brother. "Sith Belkadan, you have mocked me for the last time. I will destroy you, and this time, it's a fight to the death," she muttered silently.
Ben went to the Jedi Council Chamber for one last look. There she was standing in the center, tears in her eyes.
"Yuki!" He ran to her, embracing her sweetly. "My love, I know you must go, and so do I."
Yuki's tears ran down her face. "Ben, I will always love you."
He looked deeply into her eyes. "Yuki, I promise, I'll find you."
Yuki let go of him. "Farewell, my prince."
Ben grabbed her arm and tenderly pulled her to him and gave her a sweet kiss. " 'Til we meet again, my princess." He watched her run back to her ship.
"Ben! Ben!" a voice called to him; it was Trunks. Ben turned to face his cousin with a look of pain in his eyes.
"She's gone, Trunks. But I made a promise to return to her."
Trunks placed a hand on his shoulder. "I know. But now, I must get you out of here, Ben."
Ben said softly, "Where did Vjun go?"
Trunks looked away. "Mara has gone to face Sith Belkadan in the Menari Mountains. Ben, I have to get you out of here now!"
Ben looked back at his cousin. "Take me there - I want to see her for one last time."
Trunks nodded. "Fine, but we'll have to go."
Ben agreed. "I just want to see how she was for one last time."
Two women stood on top of the mountain. One was dressed in blood red armor; her skin was white as a bleached bone, and she had deep yellow eyes and dark brown hair cut in a short bob. The other girl was dressed in a blue fuku with white gloves and boots; her red-gold hair spilled down to her waist from a ponytail, but was most striking of her were her green eyes. Super Sailor Vjun, in all her pride, stood strong against Sith Belkadan.
"Stupid ape! I knew you would show your worthless carcass here."
Vjun hissed, "Let's get this over with."
Belkadan chuckled. "Sure, although it will be me who gets to kill you."
Vjun smirked. "That's what you think." The Sith sent a punch flying to Vjun's face, hitting her in the jaw. Vjun got up and leapt at the Sith with great speed and kicked her in the abdomen. Various punches and kicks flew between them, and Vjun used her signature moves.
Suddenly there was a noise, and Vjun saw a light in the sky. Ben and Trunks were in the time machine. "Get out of here! Ben, Trunks, it's too dangerous!"
Belkadan looked up. She threw a blast at the ship; it missed, but Vjun had grabbed both her arms. "Don't you even think about it!" Vjun spat.
Trunks did what he was told, and the ship vanished into the river of time. Vjun looked up again. "Bejita."
Knowing that Vjun's guard was down, Belkadan screamed her attack. "Scythe of Pain!" A razor-sharp blade protruded through Belkadan's back, stabbing Vjun in the shoulder.
Vjun cried out in pain, and as she threw Belkadan away from her, she shouted, "Lightning Blast!" Vjun called upon the heavens and sent the bolts at her attacker.
Belkadan was weakened, and she cursed at Vjun harshly. "Listen, princess, I'll make your death slow and painful."
Vjun glared at her. "Kisama kimi baka! I am going to die a warrior!"
Belkadan growled. "No, I'm stronger than you, so I will beat you to the very end!"
Vjun turned her head and smirked at her. "No, this is the end." She turned her attention to Belkadan. "Shiji!" she screamed as she was enveloped in golden light. Belkadan gasped as she felt unbelievable power. Vjun began to drain Belkadan of her energy. "This is my kamikaze attack. Prepare to meet your demise." Vjun opened to the Force and began screaming; Belkadan was losing her grip.
Suddenly there was an explosion. All of Vjun's memories swirled before her - her past life, her guardian's accident, the meeting with young Luke in the hospital. The day she first saw Vegeta, her life as an actress. The great days she had as a senshi; various faces flew before her eyes. Super Sailor Vjun died that day in a pillar of light, her body had turned to stone. The stone figure fell down from the sky; it crumbled when it hit the ground and turned to dust. As the dust was taken by the wind, a small green gem was left behind. Belkadan had also died; there was nothing left of her either.
After she died, she was sent to a huge man at a desk. "Princess Vjun!" he said in a booming voice. Megami realized that she was sent to King Enma's for judgment. "Megami Hisui, the one once known as Sailor Vjun."
She bowed and answered, "Yes, I am."
The man took out a piece of paper. "You are to be reborn on the Planet Vegeta, seven years after the birth of your brother, the prince. You will still keep your memories, for they will help you in the upcoming years. Farewell, and godspeed. The door to your new life is on the left!"
A day later, a little girl was born on Vegeta. Her mother, the queen, had died in childbirth. The king was upset, and Freezer was getting on his nerves. The young prince had gotten a glimpse of his sister. She was small, with red hair, deep green eyes, and a brown tail. The little girl's tail circled his wrist as he picked her up. "Hey sis, it's me, Vegeta, your big brother." The little girl giggled and tried to pull at his dark hair. "Calm down, brat. Let me see... your name is Endaibu, just like mama. I'm sorry to say, Endaibu, but Mama passed away shortly. Don't worry - I'll always protect you." He put on his scouter and began to read her power level. "Good gosh! You're going to be one heck of a warrior princess! Can't wait to do some sparring with you, once you get old enough."
The doctor in the maternity ward took the baby from the prince's arms. "Your highness, the king requests that you see him now."
Vegeta growled. "I wonder what he wants now." Vegeta left the ward; when the doctor put the princess back down, she began to cry again.
The king silently crept in, hoping that his son was gone. "I'm sorry, Endaibu, but I don't want you falling into Freezer's hands." The king took the baby in his arms and brought her to the spacepods. "Goodbye," he said softly as he launched the pod into deep space.
Hours later, a tearful Prince Vegeta ran crying from the throne room; he had heard that his sister was sent out. "When I am older, Father, I am going to find her!" the young prince shouted before slamming the chamber door.
A few days later on Coruscant in the Menari Moutains, a clutch of stormtroopers went to investigate a small explosion. Darth Vader was among them; he had felt a strong disturbance in the Force. There they found the spacepod, with a small baby girl inside. "Bring the child to the emperor," Vader commanded.
Vader brought the little princess before Palpatine. "Master, I found this child in the Menari Mountains. She seems to have a strong connection to the Force."
Palpatine took the snarling Saiyan baby in his arms. "This child is very strong and wild. She'll make a worthy apprentice, but this tail, it will have to go." The princess growled, her tail flicking angrily. "She's fiesty." The baby wriggled around, and Palpatine cackled evily, "Soon, you will call me master."
Years later, the child, now known as Mara Jade, became the Emperor's hand. She was an assassin who lurked in the shadows, cutting down those who dared to defy the emperor. She loved a good fight - you could say, it was in her blood. It excited her; she always wanted a challenge, and she always finished her job - just like her brother, who was doing almost the same duties for Freezer. But Vegeta had other things on his mind - "Endaibu, where are you?"
Trunks landed the time machine near the Crystal Palace of Coruscant. Trunks glanced at Ben, who hopped out of the ship. "Take care of yourself, Trunks. Say hello to your parents and your sister for me."
Trunks looked down at him. "What are you up to, cousin?"
Ben smiled. "I have a promise to make to someone very special."
Trunks smirked. "Invite us to the wedding, okay brat!"
Ben gave him a salute. "Don't worry, I won't forget!"
Trunks called out, "Well, destiny awaits, and I'm late for sparring with Papa. May the Force be with you, Ben!" Trunks vanished, and Ben was left alone.
"Benjamin Vegeta Skywalker! I'm so glad that you're back, my son."
Ben turned around, "Mother!" Mara Jade-Skywalker stood with her arms opened; Ben rushed to her and gave her a hug. "Trunks just dropped me off. I left before Sailor Vjun was killed - it was horrible. Everyone was being hunted down; it was like the end of the world."
Mara looked him in the eyes. "I know. Come on, I fixed us some lunch."
Ben followed Mara inside; in the hangar he saw a large ship, and inside it was his father working on something. "Mara, is Ben back?"
Ben and Mara walked over to the ship. "Yes, Father, I'm back."
Luke took off his goggles, his blue hair pushed away from his face. "What do you think, Ben? Do you like her?"
Ben was amazed. "This is for me?"
Mara nodded, "Of course, you have to get to Hoth somehow, and I wanted you to get there in your own ship, since Trunks has one."
Ben put his hand on the ship, "I'll name her Vegeta's Hope."
Luke chuckled. "Well, I hope she doesn't get blown up like Jade's Fire and the Jade Saber."
Mara's tail popped out from her robes and twitched angrily. "Don't rub it in - I sacrificed Jade's Fire, and the Vong blew up the Saber!" Mara paused. "So are you coming in for lunch or not?"
Luke threw off his gloves. "Lady, I'd be honored to join you."
A pretty blonde girl came to join them. "So, would I."
Ben looked at his sister and hugged her. "Babs, how are you?"
She said softly, "I'm all right, I heard that Trunks was here - was Bra here too?"
Ben shook his head. "No. Have you patched things up with her?"
Bebi nodded. "Yeah - Azubu wasn't worth it." They walked arm and arm to the dining room.
Later that day, Ben was off again. "Well, I guess, this is it."
Mara held him for a moment. "I packed you a lot of food, and a few things you may need, and don't forget to call on Mystic - Uncle Vegeta sent him to you for a purpose."
Bebi hugged him. "Be brave - you have the power to do it." Tears flowed from her eyes.
Luke gave him a hug next. "My son, I hope you find her."
Han called out, "Watch out for those Wampas!"
Leia gave Ben a kiss on the cheek, "Good luck!"
Jacen, Jaina, Anakin, and the others gave him hugs and cheers of support. Ben waved to them as he boarded the ship. The ship took off and was gone; Luke and Mara held each other.
Mara looked to the sky. "There he goes again, off to meet destiny."
Luke whispered, "Be careful out there, Ben."
Ben Skywalker manuevered his ship past the bustle of Coruscant towards deep space. "This has always been a busy place. Maybe Hoth will be a different change of pace. Hmm... I always loved adventure - could it be my mother's influence? She always said that it was in the blood. I'm ready now - hold on, Yuki, I'm coming!"
