She’s a disillusioned dreamer,
Out on her own.
A broken daydreamer
With stars for her home.
Dreamers tell us stories
And think up wild tales.
She just sits in a cantina
And orders another ale.
This disheartened dreamer
Has one place she can go
Where no one knows her name.
They only know her alter ego.
When she’s not there
The girl works among the stars
Mining asteroid belts
All, both near and far.
A dreamer’s dreams can be renewed
By those who care for her.
But first she has to find them
And learn to trust once more.
She’s got to learn to believe
In the old songs she sings,
And believe in the love,
The happiness they bring.
The dreamer was hired
To fly some girls around,
From planet to planet,
Surprised at what they found.
Everyone but the dreamer
Was a special kind of hero.
The excluded dreamer
Felt she had to go.
She new they could be
Better served by one of their numbers.
She didn’t realize that
They were prophetic words of hers.
The Jedi saw it in her
And called out her name.
Her destiny was realized
As it, her time, came.
She’s now a believing dreamer,
With friends of her own.
A happy daydreamer
With stars for her home.
