When she went into the council chambers, she bowed down in front of Master Yoda and Master Windu. They were the only two masters who were there and knew about her mission. They bowed down in front of her and told her to take a seat. "The reason we asked you to take this mission on, Annika, is because you are much older and wiser then the others, and I don't think they are ready to travel to Earth yet."
"Excuse me, Master Yoda - travel to Earth?"
"Yes, Annika, because master Yoda had a vision that there was a senshi on earth who was in danger, and she doesn't know that she's a Sailor Jedi. For that matter, she is the defender of Dantooine. When she was about five years old, her parents had sent her to Earth because of the Cold Wars that were going on, and they didn't want her to get killed by the Sith. At the time, they were looking for her. So with Ippin's help they sent her to earth, and they promised her that when they could, they would come and get her. But the only way she would know it was them would be by a heart-shaped crystal, and it would glow when they came to get her.
"But as soon as they went back to their home planet, they made a promise with Ippin that anything happened to them that she would go and get their daughter when she became of age so she could defend Dantooine. She was the recordation of the defender of Dantooine, born on Shooting Star. But as time passed, her parents ended up getting killed in the Cold Wars. Ippin could not go down to Earth and get her because she's the guardian of time and space; she had to find someone else. But, it wasn't until Master Yoda had his vision that she was in trouble that anyone decided to go down and get her. So, Master Yoda and I have chosen you of all the Sailor Jedi to go to Earth and find her before the Sith do. Without her, Dantooine is defenseless, and a Sailor Jedi would be turned to the dark side. So before that can happen, we are sending you to Earth as soon as Ippin gets here."
All of a sudden there was a knock at the chamber door. "Who's there?" asked Master Yoda.
"It's me, master Yoda. Ippin,Sailor Yavin, guardian of time and space."
"Come in, my child." Ippin came in and bowed down in front of everyone, and everyone bowed in front of Ippin. "We were just talking about you, Ippin. We were telling Sailor Bakura about her mission and how you are going to send her to earth to find Rene Shooting star," Master Yoda said.
"Well I have found the crystal that her parents had given me years ago. It's supposed to light up when you come within fifty feet of her, and the closer you come to her, the brighter it gets. And I can't tell you where she is right now - all I know is that they had left her in Texas with a nice old lady. I know were the old lady lives, but I don't know if Rene is still with her though. So I'm going to send you as close as I can to her house, and you can take it from there, okay Annika?
"And by the way, here is the heart-shaped crystal. When you give it to her, have her say, 'Dantooine Power Make Up,' and she will turn into Sailor Dantooine. But remember, she might not remember anything though, because she was only five years old when she left Shooting Star. So you might have to try and help her remember who she is. So, are you ready to leave?"
"I'm more then ready, Ippin."
"Okay then, here we go."
Ippin opened the space portal for Annika to enter. She was nervous because no one know what this girl looked like, and the only way she could find her was with the heart crystal which no one knew still worked. She didn't want to mess up the mission. She then walked through the white light. As she was going through, she could hear Ippin telling her, "Don't forget - when you find her, call out, 'Space Portal Senshi,' and the portal will open so you two can come home."
The next thing Annika knew was that she was no longer in the Star Wars galaxy back on Coruscant, that she was now in Texas in another space and time. She had no trouble finding the old lady's home, because Ippin had set her down within a block of her home. She went over to the old lady's house and introduced herself and told her that she was looking for Rene Shooting Star. The old lady invited her in and told her everything she needed to know about Rene. She even showed her pictures of Rene growing up. But the old lady told Annika that she hasn't seen Rene in almost ten years, when she left home. She also told her that her parents were supposed to come back and get her, but they never came back. Annika told the old lady that Rene's parents had died three years after the sent her to her, so the old lady understood why her parents didn't return, but she was wondering, "Why did someone wait so long to come find her?"
Annkia told her that Ippin forgot about her until she found things belonging to Rene's parents, then she remembered about going to find Rene, but she had sent her instead because she couldn't leave right now. Annika then thanked the old lady for all the information about Rene and left.
She went looking for Rene. She went to every store and every club she could find. Then she noted that the crystal started to glow, but there were three different girls all together, so she didn't know which one was Rene. So she decided to follow each one of them to find out if she were Rene or not. The first girl left, and she followed her, but the crystal stopped glowing, so she decided to follow the other two girls. The second girl left and Annika followed her, but the crystal stopped glowing, so she decided that the third girl must be Rene. But by the time she got back, she was no where to be found. Annika knew it was getting late, and the old lady had told her that she could stay with her while she was there looking for Rene, so Annika decided that she would call it a night and try again tomorrow.
The next day Annkia got up early and went looking for Rene. She had spotted her walking into a building, so she followed her in. She went up to the girl and took out the crystal to see if it glowed, and it started to glow very bright, so bright that someone saw it and asked her where she got it, because they would like one. She told them that it was a gift and that she had to go.
She went after Rene, but she had already left on her again. So, she left the building to see if she could find her again. Sure enough, she was out side getting ready to go into another building. She caught up with her, and Rene turned to see that she was following her. Rene went into a room, and Annika followed her, but the lady inside asked her if she had an appointment, and Annika said no, so the lady told her that she must leave, and Annika did so.
She waited until Rene came out of the building about ten minutes later and started to follow her again. She then looked back at Annika and then ran into an alley. Annika followed her into the alley.
"Leave me alone, you weirdo. I don't know why you're following me, and I don't know why you think you might know who I am, but you don't, because if you did, then I would know you, which I don't, and I don't like people following me either. So, why are you following me?" Rene said.
"Oh, I'm sorry, I had to follow you first to make sure you were the person I was supposed to find. By the way, my name is Annika, and I have been looking for you, Rene Shooting Star."
"How did you know my name? I have never met you before in my life."
"The reason I know who you are is because you are Rene Shooting Star, defender of Dantooine."
"Excuse me, defender of Dantooine? What, are you on some kind of drugs? I have never heard of Dantooine before!"
"Oh, I'm sorry, let me start again. I'm Annika from the Star Wars galaxy, and I was sent down here by Master Yoda to find you, because he had a vision that you were going to be attacked by a Sith. And there was a Sith sent after you - we had to find you before the Sith did, or you would end up getting killed by the Sith. So that's why I was sent down here to find you.
"But the only way I could find you was with this glowing heart-shaped crystal. And when I found you, it would start glowing when I got close to you, and it's glowing right now, so you must be her. See, the crystal is glowing?" Annika took the crystal out of her pocket and showed Rene.
"But who is she, then?"
"You are her, Rene Shooting Star, the defender of justice, love, peace, and joy in the name of Dantooine. And you have been missing since you were five years old. Your parents had sent you to Earth to save you from the Sith years ago. You were given to a nice little old lady to take care of you until your parents came back for you. That was the last time anyone has seen or heard from you. But I went to the nice old lady's home where you were supposed to be, but you weren't there. She told me that you had left ten years ago, and she hasn't heard or seen you since then. But she could tell me more about you, and that was twenty-four years ago you were sent down here to Earth. All we know is that Dantooine's defender is missing, and we must find her, and the glowing crystal points to you. So, you must be her."
"I'm not her, and I don't know who she is either, so please leave me alone!" Rene yelled. She then ran past Annika, almost knocking her over, out of the alley, leaving her standing there alone.
She was on her way home when this girl all dressed in black came up to her asking her the same question as Annika did - was she Rene Shooting Star? She told her she was Rene and told her that she didn't know why the two of them were following her and that she wanted them to leave her alone. She then excused herself, but the girl wouldn't let her go. "Excuse me, miss, I must be going so can you get out of my way and let me by?" She tried again to leave, but this time the Sith pushed her down on the ground.
"You are going anywhere, Rene! I'm going to destroy you, because you are the defender of Dantooine, so you must die!"
"I really don't know what you are talking about," said Rene.
And the next thing she knew, the girl was saying, "Lightning blast!" Lightning started to come out of her fingertips. Rene had just ducked out of the way in time before she was able to hit her. The Sith keep shooting lightning at Rene, and she keep ducking out of the way in time.
Then Annika came up to them and saw what was going on and said, "Bakura Force Power Make Up!" and transformed into Sailor Bakura. She then ran over to the Sith who was trying to kill Rene and said, "Asteroid blast!" and rocks came out of nowhere, hitting the Sith.
The Sith said, "Black Hole Transport," and a black hole appeared, and she jumped into it and disappeared.
"Who are you, and who was she?"
"Are you okay, Rene? I'm Sailor Bakura, defender of love and peace. She was a Sith who was trying to kill you." Then Sailor Bakura transformed back into Annika.
"I'm fine Annika, but how did you do that, and why was she after me?"
"Because she was a Sith, and she was sent her to kill you by the Black Queen, and she's going to be back for you again soon too. But this time when she comes back for you, she's not going to be alone either. You are Rene Shooting Star, defender of Dantooine, even though you don't remember your past. Here, take this glowing crystal and say, 'Dantooine Power Make Up!' and you will turn into Rene Shooting Star, defender of Dantooine."
Annika handed the crystal over to Rene. She took the crystal and held it up in the air and said, "Dantooine Power Make Up!" "What's going on? I feel something funny going on inside my body?" She then changed into Rene Shooting Star, defender of Dantooine. "What has happened to me? Where did this dress come from, and what happened to my hair?" screamed Rene.
"It's okay, Rene. You just transformed into Rene Shooting Star, defender of Dantooine. You might start to remember your pastin time though. But when we get back home to Coruscant, Master Yoda will help you to remember your past. But we must leave right away to Coruscant before the Sith comes back for you. Are you ready to leave?"
"I think I am, but I'm still a little shocked though."
"That's okay; when we get back, you'll be fine. Space portal senshi, appear!" A white shining light appeared and another girl stepped out.
"I am Ippin,Sailor Yavin, the guardian of space and time. Come, Annika and Rene, take my hand so we can go home." Annika took Ippin's and Rene's hands, and the three of them walked through the light.
They then reappeared on Coruscant, where Master Yoda and Master Obi-Wan were waiting for them. Ippin and Annkia bowed down in front of Master Yoda and Master Obi-wan. "Here she is, Master Yoda, safe and sound, but you were right about the Sith trying to kill her. I got there just in time to stop her."
"Thank you for finding her, Annika. If it weren't for you, she wouldn't be with us right now." Master Yoda then turned to Rene and said, "Come with me, my child, we must talk." Master Yoda bowed down in front of everyone and told Rene to walk with him so they could talk.
Annika then turned to Obi-wan and gave him a kiss on the lips and said, "I missed you so much, Obi-Wan, that my heart ached."
"I missed you too, Annika." Then Obi-Wan and Annika told Ippin, "Thank you for all your help," and left.
