“Priire. Out of sheer curiosity and boredom, why don’t you have a normal hairstyle like every other senshi in this whole place?” Ippin sighed. It was one of those days where everyone was so bored that they almost wished the Sailor Sith would attack just so they’d have something to do.
The blonde shook her head full of braids. “It’s easier.”
“Stop moving!” Kirana yelled. “It’s not easier for those of us who are trying to draw!”
Priire gave the blue-skinned girl a half-smile. “Sorry.”
Ippin returned to her earlier question. “Why braids? They have got to be a pain to put in.”
Rolling her green eyes, Priire answered. “All I can remember about some of my family members-” she said the phrase like it was a curse “-is that they loved my long, blonde hair. When I ran away... I guess I wanted to hurt them. So I cut it off and braided it.” She shrugged again.
“Okay... that’s interesting.” Ippin raised an eyebrow playfully. “You’re weird.”
“Thank you.”

Priire stared at herself in the mirror. She turned to the side and looked at her profile through one eye. I wonder... she mused to herself.
With one hand, she took out the black bow that had been in her hair. She held it with her teeth as she worked her fingers through her hair. Priire got a funny look in her eye as she thought through the clothes in her closet.
Maybe doing this when she was bored wasn’t such a good idea...
~*~*~*~*~
Ippin was sitting on the couch doodling in the margin of her notebook when Priire walked in. She didn’t look up until Priire shouted, “Look what I found!”
Of course, even then, it took Ippin a few minutes. When the redhead did look up, her eyes went as wide as plates. “Priire... what happened? Did you get run over by a holo-actor’s flitter?”
“No!” Priire grinned. “I can’t remember where I got it, but I found this cat suit in my closet.”
Indeed it was a cat suit. Only, it wasn’t anything you’d see little kids dressed up in.
“Lemme guess. You were a cantina maid.”
Priire shrugged. Her blonde hair fell in little ringlets around her bare shoulders. “Probably.” The outfit was a tiger-print leotard with matching elbow length gloves. The boots Priire had on were also tiger-print.
Ippin stared at her sister. “What else have you got in that closet?”
A few minutes later, the twins had matching devious ideas.
~*~*~*~*~
Nom Da’Gara was a difficult person to scare. She was brave, courageous, and ready for almost anything that life could throw her way. Nothing frightened her.
Nothing, that is, except Priire and Ippin in matching cat outfits.
Priire and Ippin didn’t even turn around when they heard Nom walk in, pause, then walk very quickly back out. Priire did giggle in Ippin’s ear that Nom was going to be back.
Priire’s prediction was right. Nom came back with several of the other senshi who all started laughing. They doubled over when Ippin and Priire turned around at the same time and offered them cat-shaped cookies.
“Happened, what did?” Numako finally asked.
“Well... Coru asked me why I didn’t have a normal hairstyle. So I went in my room and unbraided my hair. Then I looked through my closet and found lots of cool stuff...”
“And the rest is history!”
The twins laughed as everyone stared at them. “It was all Aster’s idea!”
“You started it!” the blonde giggled.
Just then, unfortunately for him, Ippin’s boyfriend walked in. “Whoa, tacky!” he exclaimed. Also unfortunately for Riku, Priire was standing right next to him.
“Would you like to rephrase that?” she smiled.
He paled. “Gee. You guys look great.”
“What else have you go in the closet?” Annika urged. “I wanna see!”
A few minutes later, Priire had not only gone through her closet and Ippin’s closet, but she’d also dragged out two chests of clothes from the Black Fire Dreamer. No one could believe the stuff she’d collected from all over the galaxy.
“Aiieee!” Annika squealed. “Look! I’m a bunny rabbit!”
The white-haired girl had found a pair of fluffy white rabbit ears and a bunny tail. Giggling, she grabbed a white shirt and some shorts and went to try them on.
“Umm... what’s all this?” Kaedama Chrone questioned, pointing to the mass of fur she held in her hands.
Priire reached over and held up a pair of pointy ears and a bushy tail. “This, Kae,” the blonde proclaimed, “is a white wolf outfit. Don’t ask where I got it. It’s a very long story involving a few misdemeanors.” Laughing at her friend’s shocked face, Priire told her to go try it on.
By the time everyone had gone through the outfits, there was very little left. And all kinds of animals and beings were represented. A butterfly, a unicorn, a couple of Ewoks, a panda bear, a nerf, a wolf, three bunnies, and a pair of twin cats only scratched the surface. Kyoko had on a pair of green, feathery wings and a feather tail, making her the perfect parrot. She screamed as several cats pretended to hunt her... of course, the cats were soon chased by the dog, who got her nether regions poked by the unicorn...
Boredom was a powerful force with amusing outcomes. No one noticed as Priire grabbed out her camera and started taking pictures...
