Dear Diary: Happy Birthday Me!

Dear Audio Diary Thingy that Falcon gave me:

I'd like everyone to know that it's my birthday today!

That's right, I'm twenty now. Wow.

Today, Mara and Yuki made a big deal out of it being my twentieth birthday. That's the Coming-of-Age celebration in Japan. Yuki got me some super-romantic movies... oh, I loved them! I watched them all three times and cried! Neburaa got me one too... now I really want to visit Earth again!

Mara and Ben got me this adorable stuffed panda. It's so big! I left the purple bow around her neck - I named her Jade - and she's sitting in a corner of my room holding the purple bear that Akki gave me. He's so nice.

Did I mention that Mara cooked? She made brownies, her brother's chocolate peanut butter cookies, and Luke's chocolate Oreo cheesecake. I liked the cheesecake best.

But my favorite gift was from Annika! Annika's present was kind of combined with Nom's. Nom gave me a wooden Moravian Star that she'd carved herself. Sometimes I forget that Nom is talented with things that don't relate to mass destruction.

Well, I looked at the dark wood and held it up to the light so I could see the grain in it. It was so beautiful... and then there was a tiny giggle and a little purple winged faerie appeared! Ahh!

She's so cute. Her name is Teou - pronounced "teeeee-ooo" - and she's adorable. She wears this little white dress with a bunch of sparkly, almost metallic-looking flowers on her right side. She has a silver chain around her waist, a garland of flowers in her hair and purple ribbons on her feet. Her hair's blonde and short, and she has green eyes - just like me! I love her to death. She's even got a magic talent! Teou has this adorable attack. She holds out her hands and says "Marshmallow Defense!" Hundreds of Teou-sized marshmallows blast at whoever she decides to attack. I love her to death!

The saddest part of my birthday was missing Tashita. She's my best friend and I really hate her choice to be on the Dark Side.

While Kalil was helping Koumi and Kairiku decorate, I was sitting outside talking to Zarathustra. Err... I think I was talking to Zar. I was saying stuff and he just stood there looking wise. He did tell me some cool things... but that was before he decided to start hiding from Kaze. I think the crush she has on him is so romantic.

Well, just then a Jedi walks up to me. She's got on a robe that hides her face, and I didn't know who it was. This Jedi hands me a box with my name on it and starts to walk away. I shouted at her to stop... then she turned around and I realized it was Tashita! I wanted to go run after her and make her stay with the senshi forever... but I didn't. She made the choice, and I think she'll come back when the time is right. I hope so, at least.

I didn't tell anyone else. Kalil would have been sad that she didn't talk to him... and Priire would have done something stupid. She's a bonehead sometimes. I mean that in a loving way, of course!

The box had a beautiful snowglobe... errr, Kashyyyk-globe in it. The globe has little things from my home planet in it... and when you shake the globe, leaves fall all over the place! Tashita had my name and "Kashyyyk" inscribed on the wooden base. Have I mentioned I miss her?

Oh, give me a minute. I have to get some marshmallows for Teou. She loves them... I'm going, I'm going!

Now, after everything with Tashita, I was a little bit sad. When I walked back into the Room Behind The Waterfall, everyone shouted "Happy Birthday, Mori!"

It was so much fun! There was lots of good food and I loved being with my friends. Let's see... after I got the faerie from Annika and the Star from Nom, I got lots of other cool stuff.

Shina and Takashi gave me a gem mined on Sullust. Wow... it's beautiful. A deep purple - my favorite color - gem that you could get lost in. The really funny thing was that Teou was sitting on my shoulder whenever I opened it, and she tried to hold the stone! But it was almost as big as she was! Hehehee.

OUCH! For a little faerie, she hits hard.

Teou could pick up Ippin's gift... it was this beautiful Corusca gem. It's greenish in color and worth more than anything else I own. That's why I took it away from Teou when she started to balance it on her head...!

Koumi gave me a crystal teddy bear that she'd shaped herself. It was on a chain... actually, I'm wearing it now. I'm so envious of her talent sometimes.

Now, this whole time I haven't seen Kiri, Yuki, or Priire. Just the fact that Priire was missing is usually enough to make people worry. Just as I was about to ask where they were, they all burst into the Room Behind the Waterfall, huffing and puffing like they'd been running. Priire had this huge smudge of grease on her nose that Kousotsu wiped off for her. (They're another cute couple!)

And right behind that trio was...

Nick!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh, shove off, Teou.

She's not half as excited as I am about that. See, Nick is the cutest member of the Bespin Boys and... he's my boyfriend! Heeheee, I have to be the luckiest girl in the galaxy.

Anyway, Nick had told me that he wouldn't be able to come because he had a thing on Bakura. I'm guessing the only reason Annika wasn't there was Obi-Wan was finally home - at the Jedi Temple - for the first time in a few weeks. So Yuki, Kiri, and Priire went to get him for me! Isn't that sweet?

Kiri has the connections to get to the boy band, Yuki flew, and Priire was just there for backup. I don't think Priire shot anyone...

Oh I forgot to mention what Chakra gave me! Nom helped her grow this beautiful crystal forest! I have it sitting on my shelf next to the bear Nick gave me. I love the way it sparkles when I shine a light on it. Chakra is so wonderful.

I really wish I could tell Nick who I am... It's hard, you know. I'm the senshi of trust and loyalty and I can't even be honest with my own boyfriend! I know, Teou... I know. I can't tell him because our identities really need to be kept secret. Hey! Who made you my guardian faerie??

Umm... I got something else too... wait, let me get my list out! I made a list of everything so that I can write thank you notes.

Right. Kleppa's present... oh wow. It's so... I don't really know what to say. See, Kleppa's got a talent that comes with her being the Guardian of Broken Hearts. She can make a person's heart... or a physical manifestation of it. You ought to see Yuki's... it's so beautiful and ice blue... and it seems to just glow with innocence.

The one Kleppa made for me is kind of scary... it's Kashyyyk. Not like a picture of the planet... but the actual thing. I know because I have a chrono in my room that I always keep on Kashyyyk time. The sun sets and rises just when the clock says it should... and yesterday - get this! - I saw a ship orbiting it.

I don't really know what to make of Kleppa's gift... but I love it. Almost as much as you, Teou!

Priire and Kousotsu got me a bracelet! It's so cool. It's got a chain of golden hearts with emerald-like leaves in the center of each heart... just like my "Vine Entangle" attack.

I told Priire she shouldn't have since she was one of the ones who got Nick... but from the way Nick was acting so jumpy around her, I think it was somewhat out of guilt. Besides, Priire informed me that Nick was Kiri's present, she was just the vessel used to "persuade" him. Just the way she said it made me nervous.

I found out later that Kousotsu picked out the bracelet. He's got such great taste! Priire agrees with me but she says he tas... wait, I didn't mean to say that! Has this thing got an erase button???
