The Lost Senshi

Written by Seijoutai Priire/Sailor Asteroid, Annika Nesicha/Sailor Bakura, and Fuukou Ippin/Sailor Yavin (!)

“See? Aren’t these pretty?” Priire asked, showing Ippin, Kyoko, Mara, Hoshi, Kumo-chan, Kirin, and Zyta some rings she’d found. They were made of brightly colored stones set in a silvery substance. Priire had found them on sale cheap, and picked ones that went with her friend’s planets. She let the Sailors choose, hoping that they would pick the ones she wanted them to have. When the others got back, Priire would give them theirs. The ring that Priire had chosen for herself was set with black stones that glinted in sharp contrast to the dark interior.

“Wow!” Zyta exclaimed, reaching for one. Zyta’s was a bright golden that seemed to glow with a double fire. She giggled and said that it was like Tatooine.

Mara’s choice was predictable. The fiery haired Sailor picked a vibrant, milky green stone. “Jade,” she explained.

Kirin chose a ring studded with ice blue ovals deeply embedded into the silver and offset by deep blue slivers. It was perfect for her planet.

The ring that Kyoko took was red. It didn’t seem to go with her planet at first glance. If you looked long enough, however, you would realize that it was perfect for her noble bearing.

Kumo-chan had an easy choice. The girl’s hand shot right out and grabbed a ring with a large stone of orange, red, and yellow swirled together. It resembled the surface of her Sailor Planet, Bespin.

When it came Mori’s turn, the pretty blonde studied the remaining rings, evidently trying to decided between a muddy green stone shaped like a circle, or an almost clear light green stone with flecks of gold in it. She ended up choosing the latter.

Lastly, it was Coru’s turn. The book-loving girl cocked her head to the side, brushing vibrant red strands of hair over her shoulder. It was—Priire hoped—obvious which one was hers. A Corusca pearl glinted up at her, winking in the light with bright sapphire-type stones surrounding it. Grinning, the redhead picked it up and slipped it on her finger. “Beautiful!”

Priire had her hands on the Black Fire Dreamer’s controls, but her mind was far away. Part of her mind was on the starscape in front of her, part was on standby, and part was listening to Numa-chan tell her a joke. But Priire really wasn’t listening.

Suddenly, her alert level skyrocketed. Something was happening on the planet she was about to land on. Numa-chan noticed it too, and recognized some faces. “Fighting the Sailor Sith they are! Help them we must!”

“Attention passengers,” Priire called sweetly over the intercom, then changed to a more serious tone. “Red alert!”

“Asteroid Power make-up!”

“Dagobah Power make-up!”

The two Sailor Jedi raced to the hatchway and burst out on the scene. Sailor Yavin gave Sailor Asteroid the thumbs up and moved over to her. The two fought in formation, protecting each other’s back. The blonde was knocked down by an attack while Yavin was too far away to provide immediate help. A familiar glowing rose blocked the attack, reflecting it back to the originator. Tuxedo Jedi helped Asteroid up. When her hand touched his, a beam of dark light shot out from the ring she wore. Before she had time to look puzzled, it connected with a glinting beam from Yavin’s…

~*~*~*~*~

“Aiieee!” Sailor Asteroid yelled. One second she had been in the process of being saved, the next she was here. The pretty blonde was afraid that the rings she’d given her friends had something to do with it. The beams of light they gave off must have transporter them here. Wherever here was.

The surroundings had a familiar feel to them, she thought as she glanced back instinctively. She was in some kind of atmospheric light fighter, two seats, no apparent space capabilities, or modern weapons. Oh, and Tuxedo Jedi was in the back with a very un-amused Sailor Yavin in his lap. Get me out of here! Yavin’s look told the other girl.

“Hrm,” Asteroid mused.

“Ladybird,” the radio squawked suddenly. “Come in, Ladybird.”

Asteroid shot the speaker an evil look. “This cannot be good.”

“Ladybird, this is Rabbit; come in please.”

“Sithspit,” the blonde cursed, putting her hands on the controls.

Sailor Yavin watched as…well, it seemed like her friend “became” part of the ship. The black-gloved hands felt around the control panel like they’d been born there.

With a warning to the others, Sailor Asteroid rolled the fighter back on its belly, and hauled back on the control stick. Instinct ruled supreme as she brought the fighter out of its deadly dive and looped it around to end up behind the other fighter in a classic starfighter maneuver.

The man called Rabbit wondered at the elegance that the maneuver was preformed with. Ladybird was a good fighter pilot, but she lacked the pure elegance of this fighter jock. He had no idea who or what was in the ship, trying to see as it came along side him. He called on the radio again and this time got a reply.

“This is not Ladybird, I repeat, not Ladybird. Can you tell me how to land this medieval tin can?”

"Who are you?” Rabbit demanded.

Her first thought was to snap back, but the girl knew she needed his help. “Call me Asteroid.”

“What happened to Ladybird?”

“I don’t know.” An honest answer that told him nothing. Sailor Asteroid leaned back and muttered to her fellow Sailor Jedi. “Once we land, can you wipe his memory or something so we can get away?”

The two Jedi agreed. They didn’t really want to use their powers to hurt the man, but knew they had to wipe his memory so they could get away.

After the two Strike Eagles landed, one with experience, the other with an economy of motion that surprised the men, Tuxedo Jedi and Coru made them forgot it all. “Blissful ignorance,” Asteroid teased.

She turned to thank Tuxedo Jedi, but the handsome man was gone.

Priire and Coru paused before stepping out of the woods into the park-like area. They had been on the move, trying to find the other Senshi that supposedly lived in this world. It was a pretty world that they had landed in. The two decided that they liked it. Coru thought that even in the dark night, it had a pure green beauty to it.

Priire’s well-trained eyes picked out a few shapes in the darkness, but they were vague. With a suddenness that surprised and annoyed her, Priire’s night vision was shot. A bright flash of light tore from the ground and coalesced into a shimmering being. Coru ducked under a branch to see what was happening.

The thing stretched like it was awakening from a deep sleep. It glanced around then spoke. “I am the killer of light! And I will take your pure hearts!”

This time, Priire saw the shapes coming and had time to close her eyes before there were more bright flashes of light. Coru gasped in perfect time with Priire. “Three Senshi!” Coru breathed. “Maybe these are the ones!”

The two watched for a while, seeing the being split into little parts; and then realized that the Earth Sailors were in trouble. They were out numbered two to one. Priire leaned over to Coru and was about to suggest they go help, when more appeared.

One girl, apparently the leader, stared down at the being, and yelled at it. “We’re the pretty Sailor Soldiers, and we’ll punish you for the Moon!”

The Sailors attacked but Priire could tell that they were still in trouble. “Aster…” Coru said, hesitantly.

“Let’s go,” the blonde replied.

A flash of light told the two girls that trouble was arriving in force. The light being had made copies of itself and had most of the Sailors pinned.

“Hey you!” Priire, now Sailor Asteroid, yelled out. “Let them go!”

“Who are you to tell me what to do?”

Sailor Yavin and Sailor Asteroid were standing back to back, looking very dramatic and deadly.

“We’re the pretty Sailor Jedi, and we’ll punish you for the stars!” Sailor Asteroid told the thing copying the other Senshi’s words.

“Nice adlib,” Yavin grinned.

“Why, thank you,” Asteroid grinned back at her. Moving with co-ordination, the two Sailor Jedi unleashed their attacks. Yavin’s gems sliced into the being’s copies of itself, and Asteroid’s rocks buried themselves deep into it.

“Now, Sailor Moon!” one of the newly freed Earth Sailors cried.

The Moon Spiral Heart Action finished off the light creature with a flash. After it was gone, the six Earth Sailors turned to the new arrivals. “Who are you?” asked a girl with blonde hair done up in buns like Bakura’s, but with long trailing pigtails.

Sailor Asteroid stepped up and said, “We’re Sailors from another universe. We’ve been sent her by the evil from our land. Some of the Senshi in our universe came from here and they told us about you. We need to get back but don’t know how.” Sailor Asteroid looked at the girls, reading them. They didn’t look like they believed her. Sighing, she gave one last try, falling back on the old catchphrase. “Help us, Sailor Senshi, you’re our only hope.”

The Terran Sailors looked confused. They had no time to answer Sailor Asteroid’s plea; for the two out of place Senshi were gone.

A few hours later, Coru looked at her friend and commented on the earlier fight. “Aster, you’re sappy.”

“What? Did I lean against one of those blasted trees?” Priire said, trying to sound worried, the pines were quite a problem…she failed with a smile. “I know. But they heard me; that’s something at least. Did you get a good look at them?”

“Of course. Now we have to find a bunch of girls that hang together and look like them. Are you sure your plan will work?” Coru said, not sounding sure.

Priire was honest. “No.”

“Aren’t you comforting.” the other girl sighed. “When can we start?”

Priire was about to answer that they should start immediately, but the forbidding clouds in the early morning sky burst open. The two huddled under an awning. “Soon,” Priire sighed.

~*~*~*~*~

Usagi was late, as usual. She, Chibiusa, and Ami were dashing along in the rain, surprisingly peaceful. At least not arguing, Ami was thankful to note. The dark haired girl was puzzling over the appearance of the two new Sailors. Their attacks seemed more powerful than the other Sailors’ attacks. She wondered if they were some of the Outer Senshi.

Ami would be surprised to find out that the Outer Senshi were wondering the same thing. Haruka and Micheiu were walking along under the awnings in the rain talking softly. They were so intent on their conversation that Haruka didn’t see the girl standing under the awnings, trying to keep dry.

“Oof!” Priire yelped as Haruka knocked her into the rain. Coru had gone to see about the city, and left her standing there, waiting. She hadn’t expected to get knocked into the rain.

“I’m sorry for knocking you down,” Haruka apologized, reaching out a hand to help the blonde up. She noticed the brief anger in the fallen girl’s eyes, and what seemed to be an aura of power around her. Haruka jerked back as a spark leapt from the fallen girl’s hand to hers.

“Ouch!” they cried in unison.

Micheiu looked at them puzzled. “What?” she asked.

Giving Priire a suspicious look, Haruka spoke. “A spark of power leapt between us and shocked us.” She turned to the now standing Priire. “Who are you?”

Priire looked confused. She couldn’t understand a word the two were saying. “I’m sorry,” she said in Basic. “I don’t understand your language.”

“Oh,” Michiru said, switching over to English. “You speak English.”

“Yes.”

Haruka questioned her again. “Who are you?”

“I’m…” Priire paused, wondering if she should give out her real name. Somehow she could see through the suspicion and curiosity to see two people that could help her. Priire had no idea how they could help her, but decided to go on partial trust. “I’m Priire Epitaur. Call me Priire.”

“Priire?” Michiru asked. At the blonde’s nod, she continued. “Priire, my name is Michiru, and this is Haruka. Where do you come from?”

Priire’s face bore a bittersweet smile. “From far away, farther than you’ve ever been.”

“Don’t be so sure of that,” Haruka warned. “We’ve been almost everywhere.”

Her smile was more sweet than bitter now. “There are more ‘everywheres’ than anyone could ever see.”

Haruka backtracked a little and asked a different question. “What gave me the shock I felt when I touched you?”

Piire wasn’t sure of the answer to the other girl’s question, but could guess at it. Through the rain still pouring down around them she spoke. “You’re one of them too.”

“Them?” the gentle sea-haired girl asked. Michiru wasn’t exactly sure what the foreign girl meant. Her feelings told her that this was more than their universe.

“The Sai…” Priire’s words were cut off by the arrival of another girl. She smiled and introduced her. “This is my sister Ippin.”

Coru smiled at the two girls Priire was talking to. She offered her hand in a friendly manner, and without thinking Haruka and Michiru reached out to shake it. All three girls yelped as they were shocked. Coru reached out with the Force to get a feel for Haruka and Michiru as they were introduced to her. They had an aura of power around them that she couldn’t explain.

“What were you saying, Priire?” Haruka questioned easily. She had led the girls into a café, and gotten them something warm to drink.

“I was saying that you are two of the…ouch!” Coru had kicked Priire under the table. “Coru, didn’t you feel it?” Priire asked, switching over to Bothan, knowing her friend could understand it and knew the need for secrecy. “They are two of them. The Senshi.”

“I felt it, but I believe we need to be careful. Let’s wait a while,” Coru said reasonably.

“Agreed.” Priire went back to English. “I can’t tell you,” she told the other two. “Not yet at least. It’s dangerous for us to be here and to talk of things like that.”

“Have you got anywhere to stay?” Michiru asked pleasantly, changing the subject.

“No,” Coru said. She hadn’t thought yet of that.

Haruka looked at Michiru. “What about convincing Usagi to let them stay there?”

Switching to Japanese, the two discussed it. “Why?”

“I think they are connected to the strange Sailors we saw last night, and we need to keep an eye on them,” Haruka replied.

“Of course.” Michiru went back to English. “You can stay with Usagi and Chibiusa,” she offered. “They’re friends of ours.”

~*~*~*~*~

Ami, Raye, and Mina were at Usagi and Chibiusa house for their study session. It was a welcome relief for Usagi when Haruka and Michiru brought in the visitors. The two older girls explained that the sisters were visiting Japan, but could only speak English. Usagi looked unhappy. Her English skills were still not very good.

“Hello, I’m Ami,” Ami said.

Raye chimed in with a “My name is Raye. Good afternoon.”

“Hi,” Mina offered. “I’m Mina.”

Chibiusa didn’t say anything, only looked at the two girls.

Priire spoke up. “My name is Priire Epitaur, this is my sister Ippin.”

“Aster!” Coru chastised her. Before she could say anything else, Priire shot her a look that told Coru she wasn’t going to give out her full real name.

“I call her Coru, and she calls me Aster,” Priire explained.

“Hello, Ippin and Priire,” Usagi said haltingly. She didn’t really enjoy talking in English and said so in Japanese.

Priire grinned. “I bet I could guess what she just said. It’s ok, Usagi, I didn’t like learning new languages until I found out it was necessary to my survival.” She laughed easily.

Coru spoke up. “I would like to learn your language. Have you got any books or anything?”

Ami handed her the girls’ English textbook. She explained that Coru could try working backwards in it. Coru thanked her happily. She did like to read, and was a quick study at languages. Priire figured she’d have the basics of the Japanese language in two days or so. The Force was really useful. Not for the first time, Priire wished that she had access to it.

~*~*~*~*~

Priire rolled over in the pallet she was sleeping on. She was mostly asleep, but long years of distrust kept her senses at a state of alert. Her mind heard every noise from Luna to Haruka, who was spending the night. She knew, roughly, where everyone in the house was. Suddenly, her eyes opened. Something was different.

Everyone was in their places, except for she and Coru. A glance had told Priire that her best friend was awake and sensing the disturbance. “Something’s coming,” was the redhead’s quiet comment. Priire nodded. The next day would bring…what?

~*~*~*~*~

Ippin was once again pouring over a textbook; she wanted to know as much about this place as possible, so as not to seem too out of place. Priire was downstairs, rivaling Usagi as official tester of Makoto's cookies. Ippin had just finished a very interesting chapter about the Japanese monarchy, when her communicator went off. She sighed and, checking to make sure she still had her necklace, she ran downstairs. She reached the kitchen just as Priire and the other girls came out of it. They nodded and called out their respective henshing phrases.

Sailor Asteroid and Sailor Yavin grinned at each other, and took off at top speed towards the park where they had been called to.

When they arrived a few minutes later, expecting a Youma, they were shocked to see nothing but a tall Senshi with dark green hair. She smiled sadly at them and gestured at the Senshi. “Come, there is much tell.”

A few minutes later they all sat in the control room. Sailor Pluto stood in the center and faced them. "Everyone in this universe, has a counterpart in theirs." She started, gesturing to the out-of-place Sailors. "Of course, not all of them have a counterpart in ours. My counterpart is here now, and I must tell her of her duties."

Yavin and Asteroid looked at each other curiously, wondering who she was. Yavin had a sinking suspicion that it would be her. She was right, they soon found out, as Pluto gestured towards Yavin. "You, Fuukou Ippin, Sailor Yavin, are the guardian of Space and Time for your galaxy." She tapped her staff on the ground and Shylar approached them. Pluto knelt and whispered to her. She stood again, and Shylar opened her space pocket, and a staff appeared near Yavin's feet. It was shorter, and didn't have the Talisman on the top that Pluto's had. "You can use this to transport in between our galaxies, but you must be careful, you cannot be sure where it will take you. If any of you think of someplace else during the transportation, it could take you there."

Yavin looked at the staff in her hands. "Do I get any new powers from this? Does Priire have a counterpart? Does Tai? Who is Sailor Moon's counterpart?" she asked rapidly, looking at her newly found counterpart.

"You will receive a new power from this, yes. You can now use 'Dimension Hole,' which will send you're enemies to an empty universe, where they are harmless. I cannot answer your other questions, they are things that will reveal themselves in time."

Asteroid came up and rested her hand on Yavin's shoulder. "That's a lot of responsibility for one teenager isn't it? Does she have any new duties?"

Pluto looked kindly at them. "I'm afraid there is. The Time Gate has a guardian from each galaxy, you are only the second one to be awoken, but the gate needs only one guard to be there. You must guard the Gate of Space, but the gate is not in any one place, the gate is simply a portal opened with our staffs. But you must guard the Space Staff with your life. For you're life would end were you to let it fall into evil hands. The gods would rather lose a guardian, then have evil control the Gates. Now I must leave, and I warn you Sailor Senshi, be wary, things will not always be as you think." With this last ominous message, Sailor Pluto went back to her lonely home at the Gate of Time.

"Well, that was interesting." Sailor Yavin remarked.

"Yeah, to think that you were the Guardian of Time and Space all along." Asteroid added with a grin.

Yavin sighed and looked at the staff. "Why me anyway? Why am I special?" she asked desperately.

Asteroid gave her a reassuring hug. "Because you’re cute. It'll all work out Coru, don't worry. Now," she said, turning back towards the earth Senshi who had followed them. "It's time to go home, don't you think?"

~*~*~*~*~

Haruka watched Priire. She could tell that there was something dangerous about the girl. What it was, she wasn’t sure, but suspicion is sometime the better part of caution.

“Hand me my gloves, would ya?” Priire asked Ippin. “Aiiiee!”

Ippin threw the gloves at Priire who let them fall on her lap. She slid them on her hands, almost guiltily.

“Do you ever not wear gloves?” Haruka asked, curiously.

Priire’s answer was final. “Never. I always have them on. Always.”

“Why?” Usagi said, pausing from her argument with Chibiusa to pose the question.

Ippin was afraid of Priire’s answer. It could either be the truth, a lie, or an evasion. The truth was still dangerous, so she thought that wouldn’t be it. But what?

“Because…” Priire paused and swallowed. “Because if I take them off you’ll see things that need an explanation I can’t give you.”

Priire rubbed her hands unconsciously as if they still hurt. Perhaps they did. If so, she’d never tell. It was her private and personal shame.

“Hmmm.” The girls went back to what they were doing, when suddenly there was a beeping. “Excuse us,” Haruka and Usagi said at the same time. The two went outside and spoke into their communicators. Mamaru and Michiru had each called to tell the other Sailors that there was a huge demon attacking. “We need your help,” Mamaru said, signing off.

Usagi ran on, but Haruka paused to tell Ippin and Priire that they would be back soon, but something had come up. Ippin and Priire nodded; they understood.

When the Sailors were gone, the two best friends looked at each other. “Why not?” Priire said, grinning. She loved a good fight.

"I'm the agent of love and justice, the pretty Sailor Soldier Sailor Moon! And I'll punish you for the moon!"

"I'm the agent of passion and purity, the pretty Sailor Soldier Sailor Mars! And I'll punish you for Mars!"

Priire and Ippin watched the two late arrivals. The battle was going in full force already. "I wonder why we can understand them when we're Sailors, but not normally?"

"Maybe it's because there's some kind of Force connection between us," Ippin suggested. Priire nodded; it made some kind of sense.

"We're the agents of fire and beauty the pretty Sailor Jedi Sailor Asteroid and Sailor Yavin! We'll punish you for the stars!" Sailor Asteroid yelled. She leaned over to Yavin and whispered, "I'm ad-libbing here; you could help, you know!"

"You're doing fine," Sailor Yavin assured her.

The two were back to back, with the sun rising behind them. Neither had suggested it to the other; it was automatic. Yavin's long hair was blowing in the wind, making it a beautiful picture.

The demon creature was gigantic, and not the least impressed by the display. It laughed, shaking grossly.

"What are you?" Sailor Asteroid laughed. "A pudding factory reject?"

The thing bubbled. It did look a lot like tapioca pudding. It slithered around changing shape and making a mess. All of the Sailor's attacks seemed to either bounce off or were absorbed. Sailor Asteroid was still laughing when it sprayed a gooey stream of pudding toward her. Suddenly all business she looked up, deadly serious. Whenever that Sailor got deadly serious, something was going to die. "ASTEROID NULL G POWER!" she said and activated an area of high gravity, crushing the stream.

The beast bubbled out its dislike for her crushing power. One of the Earth Sailors unleashed an attack of bubbles. The attack rolled over the back of the disgruntled desert. Sailor Asteroid put her right arm over her face to ward of stray bubbles. She couldn't see the interested looks a few of the Terran Sailors gave the flower marking on her arm.

Sailor Yavin worked together with Sailor Asteroid to try and take it out. Their symmetry of thought and action was impressive. Yavin sent out her Corusca Dust Engulf while Asteroid let her Null G power crush the creature. The thing flattened out and slithered away from her, then reformed in a stronger pillar. Sailor Yavin glared at it, unconsciously mimicking her friend's expression.

A sweet strain of music danced through the still air, pausing a tall Earth Sailor in mid-motion. "Hapes Seaweed," the notes of the song seemed to say. "Attack!" came a clear voice. The creature turned to the unknown assailant to meet this new attack. It was a short-lived response as the thing was engulfed by actively deadly strands of thick seaweed. Where the pudding being had been able to slither out or away from the other attacks, this one surrounded it. Encased as it was in the organic prison, it was an easy target for a somewhat belated Moon Spiral Action.

"Sailor Hapes!" cried Sailor Yavin. She and Asteroid dashed over to their friend.

The pretty Sailor girl grinned. "Wow, I was afraid that I was the only one here!"

Sailor Asteroid's eyes were pleased with the havoc she and her fellow Sailors had caused. She blinked the expression away, and looked at the Earth Sailors. With a smile, Asteroid watched them. She could see six Sailors in front of her, and two in the shadows. "Hello."

"Who are you?" asked the blonde that had used the Moon Spiral Heart Action.

"I'm Sailor Asteroid and this is Sailor Yavin. Our late arriving friend is Sailor Hapes." Asteroid pointed at herself then her friends. "I mentioned it before, but we're not from around here."

The pretty blonde introduced her friends and herself. "Sailors Venus, Mars, Mercury, Jupiter, Chibi Moon, and I am Sailor Moon."

"Pleased to meet you," Hapes said, always diplomatic. "I take it you've had a run-in before?"

"Check," Asteroid told her.

"They were in trouble and we helped," Yavin explained.

Sailor Moon watched the interplay between the three. It seemed that the newly arrived Sailor didn't trust the leader much. She automatically assumed that Sailor Asteroid was the leader, owing to her authoritative stance.

"And for that we thank you," Sailor Mars said graciously.

"What are you?" Chibi Moon asked, innocently.

Sailor Asteroid froze. Chibiusa, her mind said. Yavin nodded at her still friend, feeling the thought. My arm, Asteroid explained silently. Sailor Yavin's face froze, stunned. Neither of them had thought about that possibility. Casually, Asteroid leaned her right side against a tree. Hapes had heard the fringe of the silent conversation and was quiet. She understood that Sailor Asteroid had assumed the leadership position for a good reason. The Hapean girl didn't quite trust the dark Sailor because her home had felt the brunt of too many merc attacks.

"What are we," Asteroid mused. "I'm the dark Sailor, but I don't think that's what you had in mind. We come from another universe. There, our plight is desperate. The evil of our land is spread across the whole galaxy, and so we draw on the myriads of planets to give up their own to the ways of an ancient tradition." Asteroid paused dramatically. Yavin thought she was overplaying it…but her act had the Earth Sailor's attention. "We are the agents of goodness and light in a war against the agents of malicious evil and darkness. We are the pretty Sailor Jedi, against the sadistic Sailor Sith, and we intend to punish them with and for the stars!"

Hapes and Yavin felt like they should clap. Sailor Asteroid's fiery oration had captured their hearts. But the dark Sailor wasn't finished.

"You fight for the moon, and protect this solar system. We fight for the stars and protect a universe." Her green eyes flashed with starfire like that she so loved to fly through.

Suddenly, from the deepening shadows, a new voice questioned her. "Why are you here?" a boyish blonde asked.

Asteroid looked at her, and grinned. "We're here because of a mistake I made." She shifted against the tree.

"Unwittingly," Yavin explained "she gave us rings from the Sailor Sith. They sent us here, we believe."

Hapes listened carefully. She hadn't heard this before. Sighing, she realized that it was the merc who had gotten them here. She only hoped the girl could get them out of it too.

"That's me," Asteroid confirmed, watching the Terran Sailors. They seemed to be watching her closely, especially the two in the shadows. "Always in trouble. And causing it!"

She glanced at Sailor Yavin. The two girls had the same idea. They had been told enough, and this place was not secure. The redhead waved her hand, using the Force to raise a small cloud of dust. With the dust between them and the Earth Sailors, Asteroid nodded to Hapes, and the girl grinned at her. With that little bit of encouragement, the Sailor lifted her flute to her lips and played a haunting, fading tune. By the time the dust had cleared, the three were gone.

~*~*~*~*~

"Explain this to me," Tai asked her two Sailor friends in her native language. The Hapean girl was sitting across from Ippin, and next to Priire. "How did we get here? Why? How are we going to get back? How many of us are there here?"

Priire started. "The rings I gave everyone were apparently from the Sith. They transported us here, I think."

She paused, almost ashamed that she'd brought them here. Ippin took over for her, switching into Socorran. "I'd guess that it was to keep us from finding what they were doing. I hope that Numa-chan and crew can stop them!"

Changing over into Huttese, Priire continued. "I have no idea how we're going to get back, but I think that one or more of these" she struggled for the word, but fell back on the earth word, "Terran Sailors can help us."

Ippin used Standard. "We know of only us three. I would guess that all the girls Priire gave rings would be here. That would only be…six more of us, I'd assume."

Tai looked unhappy. "So we can assume that they are where they lived on earth."

"Saltan valoramosa n telval mord."

"What, Priire?"

Ippin translated from the Old Corellian. Priire had a fondness for the elegant old language. Few people had an intricate knowledge of it like she did. "Aster said, 'Assumption is the first step to a shallow grave.'"

Priire laughed. Then she was serious. "Have you got anywhere to stay, Tai?"

Tai nodded.

"Hve you still got your communicator?" Ippin asked. Tai nodded again. "Great!" Ippin said. "If any of us gets into trouble, just call one of the others."

~*~*~*~*~

Coru was sitting in a chair in the corner, still pouring over textbook. She was enjoying herself thoroughly and thought she had a basic understanding of the language, at least that way if she was alone with Usagi she would be able to speak with her properly. Priire was trying to watch the holo-vision, no, the television as they called it. Ippin had almost finished the book, and was getting bored, she wanted to talk and since the girls were gone she could speak freely. "Aster, do you think we'll be able to find the others? I'm pretty sure they're here on Earth, but like I said before, the Force is slightly messed up here."

"Coru, don't worry! We'll find them, then we'll go home, and then we'll all just go back to being normal everyday Sailor Jedi." Priire laughed.

Coru glared at her. "I want to go home, I hate being ground-bound. Earth is lovely of course, but I need to be out amongst the stars!" Suddenly her eyes widened. "I wonder who's taking care of the Prism and the Dreamer? If all of us are here...if there is so much as ONE scratch on my ship I swear I will make sure that those Sailor Sith die a slow and painful death!"

Priire looked at Ippin in shock. "A little upset aren't we Coru? I think you need a nap. You're getting as grumpy as Janit Colbern!"

Ippin stared at her, her face the picture of insult. "Now that was mean Aster. You'll pay for that one!" Coru ran over and started tickling her blonde friend. "Now who's like Janit? Come on, take it back!"

Priire was laughing too hard to say anything, and gestured for Ippin to step back while she caught her breath. When she could finally talk, she admitted defeat, and agreed that Ippin wasn't grumpy, and that she sympathized with her desire to get back to their ships. "But you didn't have to start tickling me!" Suddenly, Priire grinned. "And now, you will be defeated by me, the great Aster!" She ran to her bag and pulled out Ippin's lightsaber. "You should leave things like this lying around Coru! I wonder what would happen if I were to..." She sauntered casually over to the window, and after opening it, stuck her hand which held the Saber out. "Accidentally drop it?"

Ippin jumped up and ran to her, reaching for her most prized possession. "Aster, give me my lightsaber! I had it put away so they couldn't find it! Give it back, please I'm sorry, give it!" She reached, and grabbed it, but had leaned slightly too far out the window, and started to fall.

"Coru! I'm sorry! You didn't have to jump out the window!" Priire yelled. "Use the…"

Ippin screamed as she fell…then stopped. She gasped and looked at the man who'd caught her. "You!" she said.

The man who'd caught Ippin had on a black top hat, a tuxedo, a white mask, and a black cape. "Tux," Priire said, surprised. She dashed down the stairs to where the man had just put Ippin down. The two girls looked at him carefully. "You're not who we think you are, are you?" they asked together.

He shook his head. "I don't know what you mean."

The two girls looked at each other. Either he was speaking English, or even when they weren't Sailors they could understand other Sailors. "Who are you?" Priire asked in smooth Corellian.

"I am Tuxedo Mask," the man replied.

Priire blinked. Behind Tuxedo Mask she thought she saw…

"Coru, we are in big trouble."

Tuxedo Mask turned to see what had Priire's attention. There, he saw a copy of himself. Except this other person was dressed in a brown robe. Priire shook her head. "Tuxedo Mask, meet Tuxedo Jedi."

The two men in tuxedos stared at each other. Priire grabbed Ippin's arm and started backing away. "This could get messy," she muttered.

Unfortunately, she backed right into Sailor Moon. The Sailor looked confused. "What?"

Priire turned around, and true to form, all of the Sailors were there. "Sithspit," Priire cursed. Ippin shot her an evil look.

"What's going on here?" Sailor Moon asked.

Drawing up to her full height and crossing her arms in front of her, Priire answered. "Clash of the universes."

Recognition lit in Tuxedo Jedi's eyes. "Seijoutai Priire. Fukkou Ippin," he said.

"What?" asked Sailor Venus. "I thought they were Priire and Ippin Epitaur."

Priire paused. "This is going to be difficult. Look, Coru and I will be right back, all right?"

The two went back into the house and changed into their Sailor personas. Ippin called up Tai on the communicator. The beautiful Hapean girl promised to be right there.

~*~*~*~*~

The three girls walked out to where the Earth Sailors were. "Priire?" "Ippin?"

Sailor Asteroid nodded. "Yes." She didn't give Tai's name, just in case they needed her to be incognito.

"Why didn't you tell us?" Sailor Moon asked.

Sailor Yavin stepped in so all the blame wouldn't fall on her blonde friend. "We were afraid that the evil from our land was here, monitoring us. Every time another of us appeared, the chance was stronger that they were watching."

Sailor Mercury glanced around and counted the foreign Sailors. Four. "How many of you are there?" she asked.

"Close to 15, maybe even 20, I think," Tai said.

The Earth Sailors groaned. "Are all of you here?"

Tuxedo Jedi shook his head. "No. Only ten of us are."

Asteroid's eyes lit up. "The others! Do you know where they are?" Her eyes pleaded with him to say yes, and assure her that they could all be rescued. The blonde girl felt terrible for getting them all in the mess in the first place.

"I know where Sailors Vjun, Kashyyyk, and Bespin are. The others are guesswork. But here is someone who can help you," Tuxedo Jedi said. The wind blew his cloak away from him, flaring it out to the left. The wind died down, and a little girl appeared.

"A Chibi Sailor?" Sailor Chibi Moon exclaimed.

Tuxedo Jedi looked Asteroid and Yavin right in the eye. "This is Chibi Naboo. She is here to help you. Take care of her."

There was no warning for what happened next. Asteroid was about to introduce herself, when Sailor Hapes started screaming. Yavin and Asteroid turned with horror. They hadn't heard the creature with the face made of mosaic tiles approaching.

"What the Sithspawn…?" Asteroid cursed, forgetting for a moment the presence of children. She automatically slapped her hip, looking for the holster that wasn't there.

The other Sailors went into action, with one yelling "She's stealing her pure heart!"

Hapes was quiet now. Floating in the air between the creature and the fallen Sailor was a bright crystal. It was, if the Sailors were any judge, a blue topaz. The pure heart rotated for a moment. Everyone was silent. The Earth Sailors had seen many pure hearts, but none were this color. Yavin and Asteroid were shocked. Especially when the outfit on Sailor Hapes faded out and was replaced with a flowing outfit of light blue and purple.

The girl reached out and took the pure heart in her hand. When she turned to look at Asteroid and Yavin, her eyes were different. Before, her eyes were clear and crisp, like a crystal. Now, they were murky and unfocused. It was as if a child had painted them on her face. Asteroid knew that they eyes were the window to the soul; but it that was so…then there was nothing left inside Tai's soul.

Tai held the pure heart in her hand a looked at it. Then, with a quick motion she crushed it and ran off.

~*~*~*~*~

An attack leapt upon the surprised creature. "Gungan Blue Ball Launch!"

The Chibi Sailor's attack brought the others out of their surprise. "Pink Sugar Heart!" Chibi Moon added. The two attacks hounded the mosaic tile creature until Sailor Moon used her Spiral Moon Heart Action to completely destroy it.

Sailor Yavin was pale as a ghost. She had seen one of her friends—practically family—turn into something…inhuman. She'd even felt it through the Force.

Sailor Asteroid let her eyes follow the path that Tai had run. She felt that it was her fault. Never one to let failures—even ones in progress—stop her from her mission, she laid a hand on Yavin's shoulder. "We've got to find the others and get back to the ships. Before things get too out of hand."

The little sandy haired girl walked over. "How can we get there?" Chibi Naboo asked. "I'm not walking the whole way!"

Tuxedo Jedi laughed. "No you aren't, little one. Use the Jedi transport."

As he started to tell them about it, Sailor Mercury, stopped him. "My computer tells me that something is coming! And it's not of our universe!"

Sailor Yavin sighed unhappily. "With our luck so far, it's probably the Sailor Sith."

Wincing in pain, Sailor Asteroid cautioned her to not even think that terrible possibility. Her hands came up in a classic defense posture, half turned from the spot that Mercury said the thing would land. Yavin had mimicked her on the other side. They felt it was their responsibility to take the first blows from the thing. The Earth Sailors circled around the two. Tuxedo Jedi and Tuxedo Kadmen took the two Chibi Sailors out of harm's way.

A bright spot formed in the sky. Asteroid's eye was on it, gauging its size and mass. Very small was her thought. It hit the ground, forming a small crater. Every Sailor was alert and ready.

"Wowzers! What a riiiiide!" a masculine voice shouted enthusiastically as two small animals came out of the ship.

"I cannot believe that I let you drive!" a feminine voice wailed. The small animal shook herself all over. "I shall never ride with you again if you insist upon driving!"

Asteroid looked stunned. "What are those?" she inquired.

"Cats," Sailor Moon said, surprised. "Like Luna and Artemis."

Jupiter looked a little confused. "But they have some kind of star on their foreheads, not moons like ours!"

"Hey beautiful, scratch my neck would you?" the tabby said as he bumped against Asteroid's leg.

She blinked. "Umm, sure. But first, tell me who and what you are."

The gray tabby obliged. "My name is Solai. This loooovely calico kitten here is Schylar."

Schylar looked down her nose at Solai. "How do you do?" she asked, properly.

"I'm fine, how are you?" Yavin responded automatically.

The calico looked surprised. "At least someone has some manners!"

Kneeling down to scratch the Solai's neck, Asteroid asked for the rest of the story. "Oh yeah," the tabby grinned. "Schy and I—ooh, a rhyme—have been sent her to help you misplaced Sailors. We're not Moon cats, like Luna; baby, we are Star cats."

Sailor Mars sat down on the ground. "This is insane," she said.

The others agreed. "Look, cats, why don't we all change back, and talk this over more at my place?" Sailor Moon suggested. She looked very puzzled by what had happened. A Chibi Sailor had appeared, and two strange cats. It was a little more than she could handle.

~*~*~*~*~

Everyone trooped up to Usagi and Chibiusa's house. The girls, guys, and cats all crammed into her room. Solai was perched on Priire's shoulder, trying on some of Usagi's sunglasses. "Hot baby!" he said to himself, looking in the mirror.

Schylar buried her head under her paws. Ippin rubbed her fur, sympathizing. Priire did crazy things all the time.

Shicchi Kairiku, or Chibi Naboo, sat down beside Chibiusa and watched the others.

"Hey, aren't you…" Priire started to say looking at a dark haired Jedi who had appeared in her life more than once.

The dark haired Jedi nodded. "Yes, both Kousotsu Renjiro and Tuxedo Jedi."

"So you don't appear in my life at random points for no reason?"

He shook his head. "No, everything has a purpose, both with you and your sister."

"Uh huh, right, my sister," Priire said with a smile. She scratched Solai's neck and removed the sunglasses. "Tacky," she told the cat.

"But oh so me!" Solai purred. Schylar glared at him.

Renjiro nodded at Priire. "I'm starting all my sentences with 'yes' or 'no,'" he laughed. "But again, you do have a sister."

Ippin looked interested. She'd always wanted to know more about Priire. "Is her sister a Senshi too?"

"Of course you are."

Usagi stared at them. Mamoru asked the question for her. "You mean that Ippin and Priire really are sisters?"

"Again, yes." Renjiro grinned at the shocked expressions on the faces of Priire and Ippin.

Priire turned to her sister with a smile. "Well, I guess that means I wasn't really lying!" she laughed. Ippin grinned at her.

Kairiku interrupted the conversation. "Excuse me," Kairiku interrupted. "We do have other things to do."

"Right," Ippin sighed. "We've got to find the others."

"Like I said earlier, I know where Sailors Vjun, Kashyyyk, and Bespin are. The others are likely to be near them, but I don't know." Frowning, Renjiro looked around. "If we use the Jedi Transport, you can end up in the approximate area of one of them."

"Which one?" Priire mused, all business. "Mara?"

The Jedi nodded. "She seems like the best choice. You girls will be sent close to where Mara is."

Mamoru looked at Ippin and Priire. "Are you sure that they can?" he asked.

Typically, Priire glared at him. "And why not?"

"You're only children," he explained.

Priire frowned at him "What do you mean children?" Shock registered on her face a second later. "Coru, they're children."

The other girl look surprised as well. "What?" Ippin asked with surprise.

The Terran girls were confused. "Umm, I have got to be missing something," Mina puzzled. "You're only 14 or 15 yourselves."

"Exactly," Priire said as if that explained it.

Ippin refined her thought. "No one where we come from has the…"

"…luxury of being children that long!" they finished together.

"Sheer luxury," Priire added. The blonde shook her head. "I was out on my own by the time I was ten years old."

"Ten?" Chibiusa asked, surprised.

Ippin nodded. "I was at the Jedi Temple long before I was ten, and while I wasn't as self sufficient as Aster, I was basically on my own. And when I left the Temple, I left the only family I knew."

Priire offered up a lopsided grin. "We're family now, Coru."

Solai shook his head. "Yeah, yeah. Look, does it matter if their children or not?"

"Yes!" the sisters yelled.

"Why?" the cat retorted.

Priire paused, then with a shake of her blonde head she replied to the cat. "Because if they really are just children, then that will really limit what we can let them do."

"Why?" the cat asked again.

"Because!"

Ippin smiled, seeing the verbal trap Priire had walked into.

Grinning, Solai explained. "All the things you've done together, some of those you'd judge for adults only, right?"

Frowning, Priire nodded. She began to see the outlines of the cage she'd trapped herself in.

"And they handled it like adults, right?"

The blonde nodded again.

"So why not," the cat said, pouncing on his point, "treat them like they act instead of like you think they should?"

Priire sighed. "Point," she conceded.

"So this is America," Priire mused. She and Ippin had changed out of what they considered normal clothes into what the Americans considered normal. Priire had on boot flare jeans and a dark blue fitted top. No one could make her part with either her gun belt or her boots, but Ippin did manage to convince her to abandon her visible blaster. She said visible because no one knew how many Priire had hidden on her.

"This is California," Kairiku corrected.

"Oh," Ippin said, looking around. She had on a black tank top, and tight black jeans. She also wore lots of silver jewelry, and of course Corusca Gems.

Priire shrugged. "It's nice, but…" She made grabby motions at the nighttime sky.

Kairiku looked confused. "What?"

"Kairi-chan, I can't live without the stars. If we never get back home…" Priire shuddered. "Having to live on a planet for the rest of my life…it's not something I want to think about."

Ippin nodded. She understood Priire's feelings, and had them, although to a lesser degree. "She's starbred."

"I'm still confused."

Shrugging, Priire suggested they keep walking.

~*~*~*~*~

The three girls and two cats were moving quietly down an ally when a knife welding man accosted them. Ippin held out her hand, and pushed Kairiku back a little. Priire looked at the man.

"I have a knife!" the man growled, waving his switchblade.

Priire did not look impressed. "That's a knife?" she asked, with her surprise sending her eyebrows up. A flick of her hand brought out a much larger weapon that she brandished appropriately.

The man screamed, "Ahhh! That's not in the script!"

"What?" Ippin asked, confused.

Kairiku looked unhappy. "Script?"

The knife Priire had disappeared. "Excuse me?" she asked, politely.

"Oh baby, where have you been all my life?" asked a man who appeared out of the shadows. "Give me light, here!"

Solai—who was perched on Priire's left shoulder—perked up. "Wonder what this is all about, beautiful?" he whispered in her ear. She ignored him.

Kairiku stood between Ippin and Priire. Schylar had a fundamental sense of symmetry, and stood perched on Ippin's right shoulder. The man in front of the five stared at them.

Blinking, Priire made something up. "I've been on Coruscant."

"A Star Wars fan! Perfect! So is our star!" The man gestured to a redheaded girl lounging in a chair. "This is…"

"The Jade Goddess," Priire murmured.

Not hearing her, the man continued, "Hisui Mara."

Mara held out her hand. First Priire, then Ippin, then Kairiku shook it. "Here to cheat me out of a job?" the pretty redhead laughed.

With a smile, Ippin shook her head. "We're just looking for some friends."

"Would you like to cheat her out of a job?" the director asked.

Solai kneaded Priire's shoulder. "Ouch!" she said scooping him off and holding the cat like a baby.

"Meow," Solai said.

Ippin sighed in perfect time with Schylar. "No, we're really just passing through."

The director sighed. "Oh well."

Kairiku took Solai from Priire and scratched his neck as they walked along. The cat purred louder.

Suddenly, Ippin froze, then massaged her forehead.

"What's wrong, Coru?" Priire asked, worried.

"I have a bad feeling about this. Something dangerous is near," the redhead replied.

"Bad feelings are not good," Solai meowed, jumping from Kairiku's shoulder to Priire's.

"It's Tai," Ippin said, softly, her voice cracking.

Priire's mouth dropped open. "I didn't think about that! Sithspit, she knows who the Sailors are as well as we do. She'll be after Mara!"

"Change," was Schylar's input.

~*~*~*~*~

"We're the pretty Sailor Jedi, protectors of the innocent and in the names of…" Sailor Asteroid started.

"Yavin!"

"Naboo!"

"And the stars!"

"We'll punish you!" the three finished together. Yavin and Asteroid were standing in their now customary position, back to back. Chibi Naboo was in front of them in an attack position.

"Roll camera!" the director shouted. He didn't want to miss a second of the action that was developing around him.

Sailor Hapes, with her funny eyes, launched into a lively tune on her flute. "Hapen Seaweed…" the flute sang.

"Mara! Duck!" Sailor Yavin yelled.

"Naboo Swamp Engulf!" Sailor Chibi Naboo added.

Sailor Asteroid got a running start and somersaulted into the air, aware that the cameras were following her. "Yavin, Chibi Naboo! Distract her!" Asteroid shouted, combining her gravity attack and Yavin's gem dagger attack to send the deadly blades on an upward bend toward Sailor Hapes. The girl evaded them and counterattacked.

Working her way over toward the redheaded actress, Sailor Asteroid called out Mara's name. While she was trying to get the girl's attention, her hands found Mara's bag. Recklessness born of desperation made her thrust her hands into the bag. Happily, she came out victorious with Mara's transformation rod. "Yavin! Now!" yelled the blonde.

Right on cue, and with an impish smile, Sailor Yavin unleashed her Corusca dust. It blinded the cameras long enough for Asteroid to press the stick into Mara's hands. "Say 'Vjun Force Power Make Up!'" she commanded.

As Mara's lips formed the words, she began to remember who she was…"I call on the power of Vjun!" she yelled, unleashing her deadly lightening.

"Oh, puurrrfect, baby! This is livin'!" Solai whooped. Schylar whacked him with a dainty paw, reminding him to be quiet.

When the dust settled and the crackle ceased the four victorious Sailor Jedi looked around.

"That's a wrap! You were wonderful, ladies!"

The four turned to each other. "Sithspit," Sailor Asteroid commented, summing up al their thoughts. "We weren't here," she told the director pleasantly. "We are just figments of your overworked and underpaid imagination."

~*~*~*~*~

"All right, Mara. Give it to me. Where are the others?" Priire questioned.

The redhead smiled. "I can tell you where Kyoko, Kumo-chan, Kirin, and Zyta are easily. But Hoshi…" Mara looked a little sheepish. "The last I remember of her is throwing her out of my room."

Ippin looked a little surprised, then checked herself. "You couldn't remember her."

"Exactly. I bet if you and I used our Jedi powers, we could locate them."

Nodding, Priire agreed with Mara's suggestion. "That's a great idea. Do you think you'll get a headache?" she added, remembering Ippin's earlier complaints.

"Do we have a choice?" was her friend's reply. Priire had to agree that no, they didn't.

They'd left the job of gathering the other Sailors in Mara's capable hands. Soon, the efficient redhead had Kirin and Zyta at her house.

"Zyta! Kirin!" Priire exclaimed happily when she saw them.

"Who are you?" Zyta asked. "Do I know you?"

Priire fell back on her first plan and spoke with a smile. "Perfect accent. See, we're trying to find actors for a new Sailor Moon movie."

"Us?" Zyta squealed.

Holding up her hand for silence, Priire continued. "This is in conjunction with Lucasfilm, so the Sailors will be of a different variety." Priire looked at them carefully, making sure they had their transformation necklaces on. "Hold those necklaces you're wearing, yes like this." Priire showed them with her own necklace. "Then at the same time, Zyta say 'Tatoonie Force Power Make UP!' Kirin you get to say 'Hoth Force Power Make UP!'"

The two giggled for a moment then did just as Priire had told them. "Ahhhh!" they yelled in concert as the words worked and they changed into Sailors.

"Priire?" Sailor Tatoonie asked, confused. "What are we doing back on Earth?"

"Long story," Mara interjected.

The blonde looked sheepish. "It was those rings that I gave everyone," Priire explained, still ashamed. "All of the Earth born Sailors and a few others were sent here. Let's see…Mori, Coru, Tuxedo Jedi—have we got a story about that!—Tai," Priire frowned over the last name, "and myself."

The others heard the hesitation, but didn't have time to question it as Ippin came back in. "Coru," Priire smiled innocently.

"What did she do?" the astute redhead asked immediately.

At Priire's "who me?" look, all the others started laughing.

~*~*~*~*~

"Starbred Senshi of stone, defense, and redemption; the pretty Sailor Jedi Sailor Asteroid!" Sailor Asteroid posed. "Protector of the stars!"

The others followed suit with their own phrases, then together they yelled "And we'll punish you for the stars!"

It wasn't a Sailor Sith or Tai they were warring against this time. Blind luck—or the Force—led them to a jewelry shop and a crime in progress.

"What the…" one of the burglars cursed.

Chibi Naboo shook her finger at them. "You shouldn't use words like that around children and ladies! Naboo Swamp Engulf!"

The robbers were covered by the swampy water and to compound matters Sailor Tatoonie used her sandstorm attack to blind them.

Help came suddenly from an unexpected source. "Kashyyyk Vine Entangle!"

"Yeah buddy!" Solai crowed, happy to see the other Sailor.

Using Sailor Kashyyyk's vines, they bound up the bad guys and tossed them in a corner. It was easy to replace all the stolen jewels so they were out of the store quickly.

~*~*~*~*~

"Hello, beautiful!"

Mori did a double take. "What?"

Solai rubbed his head against the Kashyyyk girl's leg. "I'm Solai," he said and started purring. Obediently Priire scooped him into her arms.

"Ignore him." Schylar advised. "We have more important things to discuss."

"Like me?" the tabby purred impishly. Schylar favored him with a glare.

"No," Kirin said firmly. "Like Kyoko and Kumo-chan. It's, what, Sunday?"

Zyta agreed. "Sure! But it could be Saturday. I bet it's Sunday though. We always went to my house on Saturday, and we're not there now," she finished, logically.

"What did she just say?" Ippin asked despairingly.

"She said…" Kirin was about to repeat it verbatim, but Mara interrupted.

"It's Sunday. Trust me."

A few more minutes of ear scratching for the cats and brainstorming for the humans brought a few ideas as to where the last two Sailors could be. Priire had an idea however. "I say we split up. That way we'll have a better chance of finding them." When everyone agreed she split the group in half. "Coru, you and Schylar can go with Mara, Mori, and Zyta. Solai, Kirin, Kairiku, and I will go together."

"I am not letting you out of my sight, Aster."

Priire resisted the very real temptation to stick her tongue out at her sister. "Little sister looking after big sister?"

"No," the redhead retorted with a laugh, "I know how much trouble you can cause!"

Mori looked confused. "Sisters?" she asked. "What do you mean?"

Ippin grinned and told the other Sailors the story of how Tuxedo Jedi—Kousotsu Renjiro—told them of their relationship to each other. Mara nodded as if it was something she had expected. Perhaps it was. The Jade Goddess was very perceptive, maybe she'd picked up on something that Coru and Aster had only guessed at.

~*~*~*~*~

"Best I can hope for is a long life and a merry one," Priire sang softly…just loud enough to drive Kirin crazy. Especially when Solai joined in. The cat and the girl created a nice harmony that didn't exactly fit with their supposedly somber mood. "A quick death and an easy one, a fast ship and a sturdy one, a tall ale and…"

"Priire," Kirin warned. "Be quiet."

The blonde sighed theatrically. "No one had any respect for the arts!"

Kairiku laughed. "You're funny!"

Solai gave her a comic frown. "Nobody loves me, everybody hates me…"

"Think I'll go eat worms," Priire joined in.

Kirin sighed again. "I've got a good idea. Let's go to Kumo-chan's house. Maybe she'll be there."

~*~*~*~*~

Kumo-chan frowned at her homework. Math! she thought with disdain. The girl rolled over on her belly and stared at the foot of her bed. Hmmmm…Obi-Wan!

Her room was a veritable shrine to that most wonderful of Jedi. He was so wonderful! Not for the first time Kumo-chan wished she could meet him. Then she wished that her beloved Star Wars was real. Sighing, she did what she always did when she got Star Wars-y feeling and popped in The Empire Strikes Back. She held on to her Obi-Wan pillow and leaned closer to the TV as the Falcon landed on Bespin. What? she wondered as a figure straight from Sailor Moon appeared on the screen I've been watching too much Sailor Moon! she giggled to herself. I better rent an Ewan movie.

A knock on her window—window?—made her jump. A blonde with braided hair was waving at her from the tree outside her window. A gray tabby with a star on its forehead—star?—waved its paws at her. Kumo-chan looked out the window and saw a decisively frazzled looking Kirin helping a little blonde and red haired girl up the tree. Laughing, the Obi-Wan fanatic opened the window. "Whew! I hate the way you climb, beautiful!" Kumo-chan heard the cat say.

"Solai, you're the one who wanted a ride! Don't complain." The blonde turned to the other girl. "Hi Kumo-chan. I'm Seijoutai Priire. This is Kairiku, and you know Kirin."

"As for me," the cat purred. "I'm the most handsome thing you've ever seen!" He grinned. "I'm Soooooolai!"

"Did that cat just talk?" Kumo gasped.

Kirin nodded. "It gets better. You know that necklace you're wearing? Well, hold it in your hand—yeah, like that—and say 'Bespin Force Power Make UP!'"

Kumo-chan rolled her eyes. "Oh, come on. That's silly."

"If I do it, will you?" Priire offered. She showed her hematite necklace to Kumo.

"Whatever."

Taking on a comically serious look, compounded by the cat giving her bunny ears, Priire looked at Kumo-chan. "We'll have to do this the heard way then." She held up her hand a waved it around. Then, using her best Jedi voice she commanded, "You will say 'Bespin Force Power Make UP!'"

There was nothing the reluctant girl could do but laugh. Ok, if they wanted to play, she'd play along.

"Bespin Force Power Make UP," she said rolling her eyes some more.

"Asteroid Star Force Make UP!"

"Hoth Force Power Make UP!"

"Gungan Force Power Make UP!"

"By the Force!" Sailor Bespin gasped. "What on Earth am I doing on Earth??"

Sailor Asteroid looked sheepish. She was getting lots of practice. "It's my fault. I gave everyone those rings and the Sailor Sith used them to zap us back here."

"We've gotta get outta here," Solai suggested.

"That cat talks?"

Solai struck a dramatic pose. "And I sing!"

"NO!" Sailor Hoth yelled.

By the time they got back to the Sailors, the others had found Kyoko. "Yeah, buddy!" Solai crowed. "The fun is back!"

Schylar glared at him.

"Anyone got any ideas on how we can get back?" Kyoko asked after everyone had been briefed on the situation. Priire and Ippin had told their tale of Tokyo and Sailor Moon, losing Tai, finding the others, finding the cats, finding Tuxedo Jedi and Chibi Naboo.

"Tux told us about the Sailor Jedi Transport…maybe we could use that?" Ippin spoke up.

Schylar nodded. "That will get you from place to place, but we need to move from one galaxy to another. Will it do that?"

"Sure," a masculine voice told them.

"Speak of the devil," Solai purred. "I'm still cuter than you," he informed the newly arrived Tuxedo Jedi.

All the Sailors—now in their Sailor personas—gathered in a circle and held hands. Schylar sat on Sailor Yavin's shoulder and Solai sat on Sailor Asteroid's shoulder. "Sailor…Jedi…Transport!"

~*~*~*~*~

Suddenly they were back. From the looks of things, it had only been a few minutes since they were last in their galaxy.

"Black Fire…Surround!" an evil looking woman snarled at Sailor Asteroid.

"I have a BAD feeling about this, beautiful!" Solai yelped.

Without breaking her running stride to reply, Asteroid's hand shot out sending a wave of her gravity force attack at the Sailor Sith. The fire-eyed woman snarled and the blonde Sailor was glad that looks couldn't kill. Although the fire in her eyes could come out her fingers…Asteroid ducked, not even feeling the cat's claws digging into her back. "Asteroid Shower Power!" she yelled, knocking several large rocks onto the Sith.

A calmer voice than they had yet heard spoke into the dust. "Black Hand Power!"

Solai peeked up from behind Asteroid's head to gasp at the power of the Evil Queen herself. She used her dark power to create a 'hand' of darkness that lifted the rocks of her head minion. Then, as the rocks settled, the hand opened, then the fingers closed in sequence to form a fist, and opened again into a claw. Streams of pure evil surrounded the figure standing on the hand. It was thrown to the side and lay there limp. Immediately, Sailor Yavin dashed over to it.

With an evil laugh, the four Sith disappeared.

Solai made himself more comfortable on Asteroid's other shoulder as she walked over to her best friend.

"Tai," Sailor Naboo said as she arrived at the scene. "What happened?"

The Hapean girl looked like a little lost child. "I…I don't know," she said, afraid. "I was on some strange planet with Priire and Ippin, and we were fighting…and…and then I was here! I…I don't know!" she sniffled.

"Sh, it's ok," Yavin comforted. "It's ok, you're back with us."

Sailor Asteroid sighed, relieved. She was so glad that Tai was back and that she seemed to be ok that she—along with everyone else—missed the glint in the girl's icy eyes. A glint that bespoke of hidden deadly intentions.

~*~*~*~*~

The explanation of what happened took place a little later in the Dreamer's dining room over good hot food. Priire was so glad to be back the she planted a sloppy kiss on the ship's control panels.

"Oh, good heavens!" Schylar sighed.

No one, however could deny that it was wonderful to have the lost Senshi back home again!
